Can beginners join the Kite Safari?

To put it in perspective, a standard beginner course for kitesurfing can easily cost around 900 euros for a 10 hour-course, making our Kite Safari an excellent value for beginners seeking top-notch instruction and an unforgettable experience.​

Can non-kiters or kids join for Kite Safari?

Absolutely! We extend a warm welcome to everyone. Recognizing that not every member of your group or family may be a kiteboarder, we've curated a variety of activities for non-kiters. From snorkeling, wakeboarding, and paddleboarding to leisurely beach relaxation and lounging on the yacht, there are ample opportunities for non-kiters to make the most of their time and thoroughly enjoy the experience.​Are the lessons inclusive of rental equipment? As part of the kitesafari package, beginners can enjoy semi-private lessons (lasting a maximum of 3 hours per day). This offer is applicable when renting the full equipment package at a weekly rate of €300.​

Should you reserve your rental equipment in advance?

We strongly recommend you to make a reservation well in advance to secure availability.​What if you are traveling solo?Cabin rates are initially based on double occupancy. If you are a solo traveler, you will be paired with another kiter. In case of availability, single-occupancy cabins can be secured for an additional upgrade fee.​

What if you are arriving early or departing later than the safari schedule?

If you plan to arrive earlier or depart later than the safari schedule, we can organize kite sessions in or nearby El Gouna to accommodate your extended stay. Additionally, we will be happy to assist with making your stay longer and provide advice on must-see attractions, activities, and recommendations for dining establishments. If you're in need of accommodations, we can also help and advise on nice hotels or stays in the neighborhood. You are always welcome to contact us for further assistance.​

What if you have dietary restrictions or allergies?

With sufficient notice before the trip, our chef can proactively plan and tastefully tailor menu items to accommodate your dietary restrictions or allergies.​​

Is there a deposit required?

Yes. You have the flexibility to either make the full payment upfront or opt for a two-part payment plan. You can choose to pay 50% now to secure your booking, and the remaining 50% along with any additional fees (rental equipment and the Marine Park Preservation fee) can be settled two months prior to your trip date. The choice is yours! Payment of all on-trip expenses (rental equipment expenses, merchandise, beer, wine, tips etc), will be required to be paid in cash (US Dollars or Euros) on the final day of the kite safari.​​

What if there’s no wind?

While the wind may take a pause at times, worry not; in Egypt, we turn those moments into opportunities for diverse experiences. Explore the stunning underwater world with snorkeling, discovering the beauty beneath the surface.If the wind decides to rest, shift gears and try your hand at wakeboarding for an adrenaline kick. Alternatively, embrace the tranquility of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) or find your Zen with rejuvenating yoga sessions. To add a touch of indulgence, treat yourself to a soothing massage, making every moment of your journey in Egypt memorable.And for a truly magical encounter, immerse yourself in the extraordinary experience of swimming with dolphins. So, whether the wind is with us or not, your days will be filled with adventure, exploration, and relaxation. Egypt's beauty extends beyond the kitesurfing experience, offering a rich tapestry of activities to ensure your week is nothing short of extraordinary.​

Can you bring your own beer, wine, or alcohol on the kite safari?

Bringing your own beer or wine on the kite safari is prohibited, as these items are available for purchase on the yacht. If you would like to bring some other alcoholic drinks like whiskey, rhum, vodka... you can.

​Is smoking allowed during the trip? What about drugs?

Smoking tobacco products is permitted exclusively in designated outdoor areas of the yacht. We kindly request guests who smoke to be considerate of those who do not and maintain appropriate distancing.Smoking inside the yacht and the use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited on our kite safaris.​

What if you need to change or cancel your kite safari with us?

We understand that sometimes things come up in life and you might need to make a change or cancellation to your reservation with us. The following is our change/cancellation policy, but we try to be as flexible and accommodating when extenuating situations arise. If you wish to cancel your reservation, we request notification be made a minimum of 4 months prior to your scheduled kite safari date, and we will pay back the complete amount. Cancelation or change requests made within 4 months before of the kite safari date will be charged a 50% fee (per person). Cancelation or change requests made 60 to 30 days of the kite safari date will be charged a 80% fee (per person). Cancelation requests made less than 30 days before the kite safari date will be charged a 100% fee (per person).​​​What if there are border closures or visa restrictions due to COVID or the Israeli-Hamas conflict?If, in the month leading up to your kite safari, Egypt enforces border closures or imposes restrictions on tourist visas due to events such as the Israeli-Hamas conflict or circumstances like COVID, resulting in the cancellation of the kite safari, your payments will be promptly refunded in full—this is guaranteed.​
